some feedback for our old friend. what's is his pricing strategy? It appear to me his tea aren't as affordable as he claims.... I found long twigs attached to the leafs....I don't make tea but I thought there need to be a consistancy of leaf sizes. Because this is your friend, I have the urge to give you my honest opinion

Please treat it positively. All customers are equivalent. The dainty people are going to be the customers actually.

After thinking deeply around 2 minutes........

I am so glade that old classmate Yang enjoy the golden oolong tea. :)

    (however,I couldn't write Yang's Chinese name almost..... O_o)

Golden Oolong Tea, it is Gin-Shuen oolong tea, grows up in A-Li mountain where is beautiful and higher than 1000 metres. Because of the height of mountain, the tea could be regarded as high mountain oolong tea.

Depending on the elevation and the seasons for picking tea, the price of Golden Oolong tea could be set around several hundreds to few thousands. Generally, the price of real high mountain oolong tea(which has to be picked up in spring or winter) would be more than 2000 Taiwan dollars.

The high mountain oolong tea in 'wait a moment' is autumn tea, autumn and
winter tea mixed, or spring tea, so the price could be lower than average sometimes.

Why do we choose autumn tea? When autumn is going to become winter, the temperature in high mountian would drop obviously day by day, and it is really good for tea trees to grow up slowly to have beautiful tea leaves with higher quality, even better than winter tea. The best reasonfor us to choose autumn tea is because we are looking for tea of quality, instead of good seasons only.

In fact, ironically, consumers are not easy to know what they bought are real spring tea or winter tea, aren't they?

Without splendid backages and powerful brand name, 'wait a moment' should sell its products in a lower price to expand the market, perhaps. However, it is really hard to formulate lower price for these tea, because they are such beautiful tea leaves with high quality and charming flavor.

Also, 'wait a moment' wish to establish relationships with tea farmers directly, face to face. We think it could make tea farmers have better profits, and 'wait a moment' could have reasonable benefit. We want to pay more attention to these two parts.

At least, we urge that people who drink the tea from 'wait a moment' could be aware of what kind of tea they bought, where or what seasons the tea leaves came from, what the level of tea is, and what the wonderful tea they are going to drink.....:)

In general, tea farmers would choose the specific part of tea trees to pick first, and then follow the traditional p
rocedures to make tea. Sometimes pickers choose the stem which involves a shoot and one tender leaf, or with two, three, or even four more leaves.(If these leaves and the stalk are still tender enough) After fading, fermenting, stop fermenting, rubbing, twisting, and dehydrating, the tea leaves become the tea what we could brew to drink already.

In this condition, tea is fresh and stimulating, and the stalks are easy to be found. It could be the original state of tea. Of course, tea makers could refine the original tea with some processes to make it more beautiful and gentle.(Such as eliminating older leaves,
stalks, and small pieces )

In the procedure of making tea, process of rubbing and twisting would separate leaves from stalks somewhile.(At that time, we would have an idea, wow, this stalk is a little bit too long!" o_O)

For original state of tea, it is easy to discover there are some stalks between tea leaves. It is normal. If tea farmers
want to make leaves more beautiful, they could pick the stalks out by machines or hands. (Sometimes it would destroy the completive original tea leaves. It could be worse.)

Unfortunately, there are few people who reserve stalks intentionally, in fact.

Earnestly, I am sorry for the eye-catching stalks to make Yang feel upset. Please let me define something about stalks more
clearly. Too many stalks appeared in tea leaves is not a conventional situation definitely. Nevertheless, the stalks is one important source of charming flavor from tea. Stalks connect with shoots and leaves.

If the stalks are fresh and soft, and not old and shrivelled, they must bring some strong and abundant flavor in the tasty tea soup.

I used to consider that tea of high quality has to be small, with rare stalks, and its flavor should be light and smooth at one time. Afterward, there were more and more opportunities for me to experience different kinds of tea with tea farmers. The tea
looked bigger than I ever saw, and tasted stronger and richer than I ever drank. Moreover, they have some stalks, evidently. :)

Somehow the general viewpoints which people used to grasp to appraise tea were established by few powerful companies
usually. It has nothing to do with right or wrong actually, but be complicated with some commercial benifit, maybe.

In conclusion, please listen to your heart, your feeling and your true experience about drinking tea, but not only
professional suggestion or introduction. As what you did, drank the tea to enjoyed its real flavor and small simply, and you are going to know what kind of tea you would like and want to have it again. :)

I wish 'wait a moment' to show Yang is........

The tea, Light Baked Golden Oolong tea, you drank is Gin-Shuen Oolong tea which was from A-Li mountain.

The tea, Assam Black tea, you bought is also Sun Moon Lake Black tea.

They are tasty and fragrant. Wish you would have interesting experience with them soon. :)

It is the ideal of 'wait a moment'.
Now, we have to grasp reasonable profit to keep 'wait a moment' working.
While it is going better and better with a lot of customers, then we could, probably, realize the dream....

Let's spend LESS money to have MORE nice tea to drink.

Thank you so much for supporting 'wait a moment', dear old classmates, Yang and 佐夫 :)
